Choosing a qualified inspector is often difficult. You want an inspector that has prior hands on experience relating to building construction. No two inspections are alike and inspectors have varying qualifications, use different equipment, different reporting methods and have different pricing. An inspection requires a lot of work and a through inspection depends on the inspector’s knowledge of the mechanics of building construction. The lowest price isn’t necessarily the best choice.
